Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: During his two-day visit to Latur and Beed districts, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar expressed confidence in his party's numerous welfare schemes and development projects, refraining from engaging in confrontations with the opposition. He responded to queries about Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's remarks on the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme by stating that he was unaware of the basis of Gadkari's statements and planned to discuss this upon returning to Mumbai.
Addressing a large gathering in Beed district's Majalgaon, Pawar emphasized the government's commitment to comprehensive development for all communities and urged support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming elections. He stressed that his party upholds its secular principles, drawing inspiration from historical figures like Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Pawar highlighted initiatives such as the "Jan Sanman Yatra" to raise awareness about government programs, including the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana providing financial support to hardworking women.
Other initiatives mentioned by the Deputy CM included free education for girls, waiver of electricity bills for farmers, crop insurance for Re 1, subsidies for milk producers, and increased honorarium for village officials and healthcare workers. Pawar reaffirmed the government's dedication to the welfare of all sections of society, transcending barriers of caste, religion, region, and language.He mentioned that all these initiatives would persist for the next five years if the Mahayuti receives backing in the upcoming elections. "I humbly seek your blessings and solid support for Mahayuti in this election," he stated.
